Internet safety center has tested the latest release from Norton and id made our top 3 list for best computer security. The new advanced internet safety and security features were able to block botnets, spwyware, and malware before the software could infect out computer. The identity theft and phishing protection did a great job at identifying websites that tried to steal our identity or fraud.
McAfee Internet Security 2010
 
McAfee has just released the new version of their internet security suites. The new 2010 version is designed to protect better overall safety and security. The new interface is easier to understand and the icons are labeled better. The security suites does offer anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-phishing, and identity theft protection just like Norton. The new security engine did a very good at detecting the viruses and malware we through at it. We sent the software through our new security center for testing and it performed better than we had expected. The new computer security features were not only fast but also used less system resources than expected. The identity theft protection was good but still not up to Internet Safety Standards.
TrendMicro Security Software
 
TrendMicro has always been one of our favorite internet security suites. Again we sent the software to our new security center for testing and again it didn't disappoint. The spyware, malware, and virus protection was very good. In fact the anti-spyware and anti-malware protection was better than we expected as it was able to find 80% of the software samples we through at it.
