The security holes will allow hackers to crash or remote take over of your computer. Adobe is hoping to have the patches to fix the issues in the next several week. As predicted here at Internet Safety Center we are expecting several security flaws for Adobe products this year. The reader and flash players have become some bloated with stuff you don't need it is just asking for security issues. Adobe over the last couple of years just kept adding new things to their software and didn't have security in mind. Now Adobe will have to pay the price for that model of thinking.
Verify that when the patches are released you install them. This will help with the overall computer security.
